SpeakCards Privacy Policy

Overview

SpeakCards ("the App") is an English learning flashcard app developed by an independent developer. This policy explains what data is stored locally, what is processed for subscriptions, and how it is used.

Account and Learning Data

• No account, login, or sign-up is required.
• Learning content is bundled with the App.
• Learning progress, review dates, favorites, mistake records, UI language, appearance settings, and daily study counters are stored locally on your device.
• The App does not upload your learning content, learning progress, or quiz answers to our own server.
• The App does not request microphone permission and does not record or upload audio.

Local app data is deleted when you uninstall the App.

Subscriptions

In-app subscriptions are processed by Apple. The App also uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlement status and purchase-related analytics needed to operate the subscription features.

Third-Party Services

The App uses RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com) to manage in-app subscriptions and analyze purchase behavior.

RevenueCat may process the following data on our behalf, linked to a RevenueCat-internal user identifier rather than an account system in the App:

• Device identifiers such as IDFV, used to recognize the same device for subscription entitlement and restore behavior.
• Purchase history, including subscription status, product identifiers, renewal events, and cancellation events.
• Product interactions, such as paywall views and subscription conversion events.
• Country or region derived from App Store purchase information, used for pricing and subscription validation.

RevenueCat does not use this data for advertising tracking or sale to third parties. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

No advertising SDK, social SDK, crash reporting SDK, IDFA, or App Tracking Transparency prompt is used by the App.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
